We want our child to learn in any environment that reinforces our values. We have discovered through on-campus visits that Shenandoah shares these values and provides a high-quality education as well. We want our daughter to grow closer to God. The best way to do this is to provide her with the opportunity to immerse her in a school that teaches God’s Word. Shenandoah reinforces this by combining God’s Word with our daughter’s daily academic and physical exercises.
God is the central focus of our lives. As we walk by faith and not by sight, it is our daily goal to attain His best. We feel the most appropriate way to achieve His best in our daughter’s life is to enroll her in a Christian based educational program. The program must meet and or exceed the requirements of society, while focusing on the important leadership of God in our lives. Shenandoah does just that.
We want to leave a legacy of faith for our daughter. It is very difficult in today’s society to implement Godly values, morals and teachings without the support of a Christian school. Shenandoah is that school. We have been entrusted by God to raise a beautiful daughter. It is our responsibility as her parents to do what we can to surround her with godly people who will assist in leading, guiding, and directing her training in God’s way.
We feel that Christian Education is a part of our obligation to “train up a child” according to Proverbs 22:6. Shenandoah exemplifies the Christian doctrine taught in the Bible. We have received positive feedback from other Christians in the community and feel it would be irresponsible of us to send her to a secular school.
Sincerely,
The Barnes Family
